Survive 60 Relentless Days
Your objective is simple but unforgiving: survive for 60 days. Each new day introduces tougher enemies, more dangerous conditions, and greater challenges. As time passes, the undead become stronger, faster, and more aggressive, forcing you to improve your defences and continuously adapt your survival strategy.
Search for Essential Resources
Explore abandoned streets, dark buildings, hidden shelters, and dangerous areas in search of food, ammunition, medical supplies, and other essential resources. Supplies are limited, so every bullet, bandage, and piece of food must be used carefully. Proper resource management can mean the difference between survival and death.
Manage Your Survival Needs
Survival requires more than fighting zombies. Players must carefully manage hunger, energy, health, and stamina while exploring the dangerous village. Running, fighting, and carrying out difficult tasks consume valuable energy, so you must decide when to explore, when to fight, and when to return to safety.
Craft, Build, and Defend
Collect materials to craft ammunition, weapons, barricades, and traps. Strengthen safe areas and prepare your defences before the undead arrive. A carefully placed trap or reinforced barricade can give you the time needed to survive another night.
Face Terrifying Enemies
Dead2Rise features numerous undead creatures, each presenting a different threat. Players will encounter zombies, ghosts, Screamers, Reapers, Backbreakers, Hazmats, Flayers, Grinders, Wailers, Sirens, Ravagers, and other horrifying enemies. Understanding their behaviour and weaknesses is essential for survival.
Experience a Dynamic Horde System
Enemies in Dead2Rise react to noise, light, and movement. Firing a weapon, running through an exposed area, or attracting too much attention can bring a deadly horde directly to your position. Players must constantly observe their surroundings and decide whether to fight, hide, or escape.
Choose Your Playstyle
You can confront the undead with powerful weapons or quietly move through the shadows. Use direct combat when necessary, set traps to control enemy movement, or avoid dangerous encounters to preserve valuable resources. Dead2Rise allows you to develop your own approach to survival.
